KING CUMULUS news

12/2/2017 - King Cumulus will headline a Christmas show at Darrell's Tavern in Shoreline (event details here) on the 22nd. The gig offer came after the band hit Darrell's open mic in October and knocked the socks off the booking manager.

6/2/2017 - The band is knee-deep in its recording effort, and have rough tracks for five songs, including "Hoya", "Tierra del Fuego", "Appaloosa" and our newest song "How to Say You're Sorry (and sound like you mean it)". We hope to have these songs finished by the end of summer, and available for purchase on iTunes and other fine music sites.

We are also very pleased to announce the addition of two new band members; Colin May (Drums/Percussion/Vox), formerly of The Baker Street Irregulars and Smokebraiders, and Bert Martin (Lead Guitar) also from Smokebraiders. These two fine musicians give King Cumulus much more sonic depth and a unique rhythmic footprint with now not one, but two percussionists. We are very excited to welcome them into the fold, and you can see the band performing with Colin on Saturday, June 10th at the 192 Brewery in Kenmore (show starts at 7:00PM and there is no cover).

The 192 Brewery is kid and dog friendly, with great food and greater beer. Plus, we'll be there playing three sets of music.
